Envision Urban Agriculture Fair
1:00pm-4:00pm

Hosted by: San Diego Food System Alliance, Slow Food Urban San Diego, and International Rescue Committee

Fair Overview

Envision Urban Agriculture Fair is a family-friendly fair for growers and the San Diego community supportive of growing food in our cities. Urban Agriculture Incentive Zones will be a new tool available in the City of San Diego that will allow us to activate vacant spaces for growing food. Come shop produce from local urban farmers, eat some good food, listen to live music, drink local kombucha and beer, learn to cook healthy food by demos from San Diego chefs, and obtain resources to grow more food in our cities. Find out more about our vision for the Fair here.

Keynote of the 2016 Food Forum will be happening at the Fair:
"Envisioning urban agriculture around the world"
A.G. Kawamura, Founder, Solutions for Urban Agriculture; Former Secretary of Agriculture
